Before the space, there’s the person.

We start by understanding you. How you live, what matters to you, the things you hold on to, and the life you want your home to make room for.

(01)The personal story

Residential · Cuffe Parade

Sailor’s Abode.

A lifetime at sea. A place to call home.

The living room, a ship’s wheel set into a walnut arch above the breakfast table
The main bedroom, full-height windows over the bay
A timber-lined corridor leading to the study

For a family whose lives hold decades of stories, their home needed to honour the past while making room for the present. We brought together their everyday needs and the pieces they had collected over the years (a ship’s wheel, treasured artwork and personal keepsakes), giving their memories a place in a home designed for how they live today.

(02)The details

Look closer.

A beautifully resolved edge. A seat that’s just the right depth. A corner that works harder than you’d expect. Some details catch your eye immediately; others reveal themselves through everyday living. We give both the same attention.

    (03)Architecture

    The bigger picture.

From private homes to residential towers, our attention extends beyond individual rooms. We consider how a building sits within its surroundings, the experience of arriving home, the movement of light, and the proportions that bring everything together.

Different scales, each deserving the same consideration.

    (04)Taking shape

    Residence, Bandra · In design

Before a single wall is built, you’ll know how it feels.

For the same residence, we explored two directions: rich walnut and ivory, or soft oak and linen. The rooms remain the same, but each feels like a different home. Instead of asking the family to imagine the difference, we showed them.

And then, the lights come on.

For the entrance to a hotel’s banquet hall, we designed the lighting around the moment of arrival. It brings depth to the materials and sets the mood for the evening ahead, before guests even enter the hall.

    (05)Behind the design

What you don’t see matters just as much.

Behind a finished space are decisions that rarely make it into the photographs. The challenges anticipated, the ideas reconsidered, and the details resolved before they ever become part of daily life.

It’s this thinking that makes a space not only beautiful, but better to live in.

    01 / The deckIntegration

    What you see

A warm timber deck, with fluted glass and an arched niche.

    What you don’t

The air-conditioning lines, plumbing stack and unfinished floor, all hidden behind the finishes.

    02 / The living & diningTransformation · In design

    What you see

A bright, open living and dining space along the windows.

    What you don’t

A reworked layout that brings natural light into a dining area previously cut off from the windows.

    03 / The kitchenCraft

    What you see

Warm wood, grey quartz and a curved ceiling coming together.

    What you don’t

The curve framed in plywood, the cabinetry fitted in place and the quartz fitted by hand.

    04 / The study wallPrecision

    What you see

One wall bringing together two workspaces and a prayer unit.

    What you don’t

Two different desk widths and matching 350 mm curves, precisely aligned with the beam above.

    (06)The process

Design is complex. Working with us shouldn’t feel that way.

A considered process, with you involved in the decisions that matter. From the first conversation to the finer details, you’ll always know what comes next.

    One home, two ways.

One family flat, drawn twice, so the family could choose with their eyes and not a mood board. Walnut and ivory, with cove light and tree murals. Or pale oak and linen, with a jhoola at the centre of it all.
